1. What data we get

We collect certain data from the user directly, such as information that the user enters himself, data about his consumption of content, and data from third-party platforms that the user connects with SendoAgil. We also collect some data automatically, such as information about the user's device and the parts of our Services that the user interacts with or spends time using.

2. Data that the user provides us

We may collect different data from or about you, depending on how you use the Services. Below are some examples to help you better understand the data we collect.

When you create an account and use the Services, including through a third-party platform, we collect data that you provide directly to us, including:

Account data

To use certain features (such as accessing content), it is necessary to create a user account, for which we must collect and store the user's email address, password and account settings. To create an instructor account, we collect and store the user's name, email address, password, and account settings. When using certain features of the site, you may be asked to submit additional information, such as your profession, government-issued identity information, a verification photo, your date of birth, your race/ethnicity, skills that interest you and your phone number. When you create your account, we will assign you a unique identification number.

Profile data

You may also choose to provide your profile information, such as a photo, title, biography, language, website link, social media profiles, or other data. User Profile Data will be publicly viewable by other users.

Shared content

Some portions of the Services allow the user to interact with other users or share content publicly, for example, by posting reviews about content, asking or answering questions, sending messages to students or instructors, or posting photos or other work that the user charge. Such shared content may be publicly visible to other users depending on where it is posted.

Data on educational content

When the user accesses content, we collect some data, such as the courses, assignments, labs and exams you have started and completed; credits and content purchases; subscriptions; completion certificates; the user's exchanges with instructors, teaching assistants, and other students; and assignments, answers to questions, and other items submitted to fulfill course requirements and related content. If the user is an instructor, we store educational content that may contain data about the user.

Student payment details

If the user makes purchases, we collect certain information about them (such as the user's name, billing address and zip code), as necessary to process the order. There is also the option to save this data to process future orders. You must provide certain payment and billing information directly to our payment service providers, such as name, credit card information, billing address, and zip code. We may also receive limited information, such as the fact that the user has a new card and the last 4 digits of said card, from payment service providers to facilitate payments. For security reasons, SendoAgil does not collect or store sensitive cardholder data, such as all credit card numbers or card authentication data.
